still grinning. Keep finding excuses to go to the window to have a look too...
Goes away and learns to type...

That does not wear off even after 3 months. I still look out and think that is actually ours :)

Nevyn,

Just looked on the Gallery thread - your car looks stonking! - sometimes think I should have
been a bit more ambitious than white, but in truth the car looks so good in any colour I
would have had difficult time settling on a single alternative !

Thanks. It looks striking in white too!

It's all very personal though isn't it? There's no 'wrong' colour, 'cos as you say, it looks so good in any colour. When i first started looking at the XE my friend with the XF was telling me "they look really good in white" having seen one at his local dealer with pano roof and black wheels. I ended up getting a pre-registered and chose it on specification from their list (I wanted at least the same toys as my old 8th gen Accord EX and NOT black - My Accord was black and I wanted a change. Plus I knew how much work it was keeping it clean :) ). I would really have liked BRG, partly because green cars are quite rare, but they didn't have one in any spec. This one came up and I thought, that'll do nicely ta.

What I like about the Gallery section is seeing everyone else's choice of colour and trim, from stealth black with added black (does a small lamp light up black on the dashboard I wonder?) to lots of bling. Besides, it makes a change from IRR :) ;)

Did you say you added mud flaps? Do you have pictures? I'm not sure I've actually seen a car with them.
Love you car btw. Great colour and those wheels and the chrome with the sun roof. That's a great combo.

Yes, have a look on this thread: http://www.xeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2954

And also a more recent photo (Can't seem to stop taking pictures for some reason...). Not too conspicuous against the grey:

I'll warn you they're not cheap. But I guess they are made from the finest Unobtanium with a super protective rubber coating...

Hi Nevyn,
Your XE looks stunning in the colour. I'm very impressed as I'd rather have a darker grey but your looks very very nice with the alloys.
I'm looking for some chrome or s/s exhaust tips. can i ask where you purchased your from and are they OK. I'd rather have S/S ones than chrome but . . . . . Thanks

Mine are the Skoda Yeti tips purchased from eBay, this seller in fact: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-SKODA-YETI-CHROME-EXHUAST-TWIN-TAIL-PIPE-5L0071910-/321974221516?hash=item4af728bacc:g:c9wAAOSwJkJWlR0D

Pretty sure they are polished stainless. Either way they are well finished and a decent weight, not flimsy at all. There's a thread on here about them somewhere.

I've also managed to score a set of genuine Jaguar XE rubber mats for the winter, also off eBay, a snip at ÂŁ40 delivered

Only just picked up on this. I like the addition of the AA Road Atlas in the back of the driver's seat. Is that to supplement the iffy sat nav? :) I, like you, am very pleased I went for the oyster windsor leather.
