All surface progress control

Post by Ste-Rudd » Mon Dec 28, 2015 10:26 am

Does anyone know if this is standard feature on older models. I ordered in August but have noticed this is now on the configuration as standard.
Have not yet took delivery hopefully just after new year car is in transit according to the system.

Thanks :D

Just checked my copy of the "electronic" sales brochure and ASPC is a standard feature on all the models, never played with it though. Have fun when you take control!!

From what I have read, it is very effective on snow and ice. It doesn't make you car float, though. So maybe next winter...

Hopefully dealer shall be phoning tomorrow saying my car has been delivered to them. I'll ask him just to clarify it is fitted. Should find out for myself in a week when I get hold of the car for the first time.

It's realy good, once you've figured out how to.use it
It's like it's setting off in 2nd or 3rd gear.
Be ideal for getting up a slippery Road or down a slippery hill/incline.

Have had mine since August, and yes it's standard. Bit confusing using it as there are several winter modes, haven't had to use it yet though! Ian

It's indeed standard, but not available on a manual

Mine will be an auto as you've probably worked out. Only asking as my street has quite an incline to get up if winter ever shows its face

I use the system a lot - to roll up my drive slowly. It’s a 1 in 5 rise over an uneven gravel surface up to the road and I need to cross a well used pavement at the top very carefully. The system increases the throttle pedal travel for slow speed adjustments.
