Hi All,

This is my first post on the forum, however I've been lurking around a little while, and it's mainly thanks to this forum that I decided to purchase the Jag! :D

I picked up my new car from a Jaguar specialist last Friday and I am totally besotted with it! It's the 2.0 180bhp R-Sport in Glacier white, with 19inch Venom alloys!

I'm unfortunately one of those people that just cannot leave a car standard, however I only plan to make a few subtle changes to personalise the car a little. ;)

As soon as I got the car home from Devon, I removed the rear badges, and smoked the rear lights. I didn't want too dark a smoke, but they are SO bright as standard so I used a very light smoke tinting film to tone them down a little!

Really looking forward to joining the forum properly and getting to know you all a little better!

Love both the exterior and the interior of this car. So classy and nice. The glacier white really suits it!
Thanks Oselli!

The colour is my absolute favourite! In some lights it's a very glossy white, and in other lights it's more like a flat grey!

Hi

The black exhaust tail pipes that are sold by llowen on this forum are another thing you could buy. See pictures and prices etc. In items for sale

I have them on my glacier white XE r-sport and they look great.

The black wheels would have finished the look off, just a suggestion maybe you could get yours refinished

25mm spacers fitted to the rear today! I'm really happy with how they look! I probably could have gone with 20mm, but these have filled the arches nicely! Just need to hope there's no rubbing now once the car is full 😁

Had a new exhaust installed today to replace the standard twin exhaust. The car is a 2.0 diesel so I left the silencer and DPF box in and just had the backbox removed!

I'm really pleased with the result, it looks quite subtle! There isn't much difference in sound when idling, but it does far deeper/nicer when you put your foot down 😊

Interesting to see the hub spacers on the rear wheeels. As you say 20 mm may have been better but can't see much wrong with the 25 all said and done. Out if interest where did you buy them from, they appear to be well made units. Also do you hve any intentions to space the fronts as well?

Hi BRC

Here is the link for the spacers:

25mm looks absolutely perfect but I'm yet to have a fully loaded car! It does look like the wheels will clear the arches easily enough though! I'd probably like to space the front 15mm, but that is not enough depth for the bolt on spacers and would require extended bolts which I don't really like.

I removed the front end today to wrap the grille and to fit my wrapped bumper trims! The bumper removal was quite simple and I was pleased to see that the mesh insert pops out of the grille surround, making it far easier to wrap! I decided to go for a matt black, and am really pleased with the result! I am currently waiting on a carbon fibre splitter which I think will set the front end off perfectly!

Looks ace!!

You've done a few things I'm looking to do to my XE R-sport. I'm a sucker for anything carbon fibre (as long as it's subtle).
Where did you source the side vents please? I'm after the front lip, vents, rear valance and boot spoiler

Also I'm after 20mm spacers for the rear. Did you have to make any modifications to your OEM hubs or lugs in order to fit the spacer? (i know you fitted 25mm but wondering if you think 20mm would be okay) I'm also running the Venom wheels!
