Today my order from Jaguar-Teile.de should be delivered (if it's not allowed to mention the dealer, please remove).
It's the 15mm spacers for the front, the rubber trunk mat and the leather care.
Never thought that the trunk is different in MY2020, but it is.
After one week I can say, that it is an absolute pleasure to drive this car. Just got 400km on it, but I loved each of them.
Still not used the dynamic mode. After the next tank filling I will go for it on the german Autobahn.
I could only find one problem/issue so far:
My locking is not working as it should be. I prefer the 2-stage locking (mirrors fold in, alarm activated).
I'm pressing the lock button 2 times in 3sec and the 2-stage lock works fine 2 of 10 times. Most of the time it sounds like the car is locking once. The mirrors did not fold in and the horn gives a two-tone signal. No door is opened or someting. I do exactly the same when it works correctly. When I'm checking the app it shows me "unlocked" and "alarm disabled". After that it's only possible to lock the car by the app.
My dealer is informed about that and I'll go for a visit next week.
You, dear Sir, have a exquisite taste.
That is one awesome looking car, I have 1300km on mine and still driving gently, keeping it under 3000rpm.
The manual says 3000km is the run-in period.

Nope, no problems so far. The only difference between the two locking methods is that the double click gives a horn sound signal.
My navigation would not speak but I solved it by resetting the language. We are off to the Alps next week, can't wait, because this car handles really really reaaaally well
hah, on that, dopes anyone else get the clock gradually slowing in their cars? I lose as couple of minutes a month, and I have had that in most of my jags. The cars look beautiful, quite a significant difference there. Odd that the white one looks smaller than the black, usually it is the other way around.

Cheers. I also had it with my 08 XF, my 2011 XF and the XKR. I read somewhere (which means cant remember and dont know whether this is true) that they lost 3 seconds every time you start the car, hence losing a few minutes a month. Nice to know fixed for the new one.
The problem with the locking is fixed now.
They've changed the control unit and did some programming. Now it works fine.
Got an RR Evoque as a spare for two days. Had a lot of fun. Very nice ride!
And now there's a new XE in the showroom. Eiger grey is really beautiful!
My first colour to order was corris grey, but they cancelled it for the new XE. So I was unsure how the eiger grey will look in real life. But I'm fine with the yulong as well.

Yep, the new Evoque is a very nice ride especially as a P300.................
I heard a bit of outrage at the demise of Corris (Ammonite) grey across other forums.
However, I've seen the Eiger on a car in the showroom and it's a very nice colour.
It seems people who have seen it in the flesh are warming to it.
I had an Eiger Grey loan car just before I got mine and, maybe it was the dour Scottish weather (overcast and wet) but it looked quite dull. I haven't seen it spotlessly clean and under sunlight or in a showroom so perhaps I'm only getting half the picture.
Yes it is! Very good for me as owner.
Some "older" XE and XF, F-Pace and E-Pace and of course some classic models, but not often. I've never seen an other facelift XE than mine (except at my dealer).
Short update:
After installing the genuine black mirror covers and rear badge, I got my side skirts wrapped in black today, matching the "Black Edition".
Now waiting on the black sequential mirror indicators from growler parts. Maybe a black badge for the front grille will follow.
Ah. Just saw that. If you do that, I'd love to see a pic. I've been thinking about that too. Black grill growler badges were phased out about eight years ago on F Type and last gen XF and never appeared on XEs. On a black and white car, I think it would look good, and consistent with the overall theme.
I might plasti-dip the growler backing just to see (plasti-dip is removable, which is why it's great). The three part badge seems to come apart easily enough. The default rather poor looking mid red plastic looks less sharp than my red factory wheel badges (and red calipers). At least to my eye...
Nice Paul! And you're right. Great combination with a white Jag!
As my next XE will have the panoramic roof it could be an option to wrap the rest of the roof black. Maybe.
And yes I know it's an available option to configure the roof painted in a different colour.
Yes, I did go for the roof wrap. I was unsure, but now that Jaguar themselves offer it, it is mainstream. I really like it that way.
On my white one I did the vertical trailing edge of the spoiler too. It highlights it, subtly. Good luck with your new one. Hope it actually arrives! 🤞
