I had a phone call yesterday form my Dealership as they are holding a promotional 4 day event with incentives for prospective purchasers.
Nothing to loose so I went along.
After much deliberation and squeezing the deal as much as I could to suit me, I will now be swapping my XE 2.0i Prestige for a new R Dynamic S 2.0 petrol 250ps in Caldera Red. Similar to the one in the attached Photo.
My OH's eyes just rolled as I have just sold my Indian Tuk Tuk (3 yrs old) and taken delivery of a new model last week.
Looking at the local mileage I do in the Tuk Tuk it has shaved 1100 miles a year off the Jag's.
Congrats. That pic will be the R-Sport I sat in while cogitating whether any other of the Harwoods used stock met my needs.
We started off with the Loire Blue 2.5T R-Sport, and via several used (an all black inside and out P250, a silver P300 and one new stock vehicle (Caldera P250 SE R-Dynamic), ended up back where we started. Hope to collect in the next few days.
I've been staying away from dealers as I just knew that temptation would get the better of me if I went in. And of course it did
Will do. I was a little surprised at the updated Incontrol technology, but I will get there in the end. It came with Williams Ceramic Coating so am looking at how to preserve the finish without having to touch the car body. Jet wash, Snow foam, Blow dryer!!!
The most nervy part of the day was driving to the dealer with my previous car and arriving safely. A few years ago, 2 days before trade in, my OH was involved in an accident, not her fault, and we had to postpone the deal for 3 weeks!!!
It already came with the car, must admit I do not find it obtrusive, although if I had configured the model I would not have bothered.
