My 25t has galloped well past three figure speeds, and the reference points along the way seem to tally close to those I did with my Porsche 911 2.7 RS, which was 0-60 mph in around 5 seconds, twenty five years ago. The XE obviously cuts the wind with twice the efficiency. I think the design and efficiency of the car doesn't by any means get the credit it deserves, and I think that it's the preserve of British cars you can drive them in a docile licence preserving manner, but they can make a big noise on the road when beckoned !

Obviously when you were in Germany on the Autobahn.
Such things would of course be illegal in the UK and as such strictly verboten from being posted on here.
;) :D

Loving all the comments so thanks. Getting a bit concerned on delivery dates at the moment. Forbtge first 4 weeks afetr order I got a steady stream of emails off the dealer first brunging delkvery forward by about 3 weeks from the back end of September to 1st september... tehn confirmations of that .... now for the last couple of weeks radio silence.

Anyone know of any production delays currently ?

There have been some delivery delays recently due to the new emission regs coming in but looking at the sister forums these seem to have cleared and deliveries are going ahead.
I wouldn't wait for emails or phone calls.
Go into the dealership and put your saleperson on the spot in person.

Can't believe I posted that I'd ordered the Jag back in June... But after one false start.... Dealer had managed to order the wrong car and didn't realise till I inspected it and told them... I'm finally picking my car up tomorrow.... Pictures will follow
