Re: InControl Pro upgrade issues

Correct, android auto uses wi-fi to connect to your head unit. However, wireless android auto is not supported via Jaguar. Very few OEMs do at the moment.

Re: CONTINUOUS VARIABLE DAMPING

I have it on my car. Highly doubt you'd be able to discern much of a difference with or without it. With configurable dynamics, you are able to select Normal or "Dynamic" (sport) for the dampers. I can't tell any difference between the two. Adaptive Dampers The adaptive dampers have an electrical co...

Re: InControl Pro upgrade issues

No, not terribly unusual I'm afraid. Particularly for older versions of the software. Usually they are able to get through it, but sometimes it will require them to replace the hardware unit (master controller).

Re: New 6 Cylinder Engines

I read a interesting thing about the mk2 evoque not having this new engine because it wont fit. It made me think if it would fit in the XE too. The V6 already fills the engine bay pretty well as is, so is it even possible a straight 6 hybrid would have room? Shouldn't be a problem. The Project 8 XE...

Re: Disc and Pad Replacement

Would appreciate some advice on this subject too please...as I don't really know much about cars, and what is/isn't normal. My car was just in for its year 3 service with Jaguar, and I've been billed just over £1,200 to replace all 4 brake pads and disks on my Jaguar XE Sport...due to corrosion and...

Re: InControl Touch Pro Version 19A Released

As a quick update here, 19A continues to work well. The only major issue was Android Auto randomly crashing, but I was able to solve that with a different cable. Strangely enough the OEM Google Pixel cable was problematic, but a 3rd party one manufactured by Anker has been rock-solid.

Is there anyway to get android auto on my XE 19 year model without visiting the dealer?
ICTP Pro should include this already for 2019? If not, then no, there is no way to activate it yourself. The good news is that you own a Jaguar, so trips to the dealer should be quite regular.

Re: Wireless updates

Good to hear, thanks for sharing! The I-Pace just started getting ICTP 19a rolled out via OTA, and the suspicion is that the XE wouldn't be far behind. Looks like that will be true!

Curious what version of the software you are currently running?

Re: InControl Touch Pro Version 19A Released

As well as the software version number, there is also an Assembly Part number. For example, software version S18D_18.47.5-269316 has Assembly Part number K8A2-19C204-BA. Does anyone know the assembly part number for 19A? The software version in my car is showing as S19A_19.07.2-312706. Cheers Mark,...
