I agree Phil, I also do this and when moving N to D I manually disengage the hand brake.
This seems to give a smoother pull away.

I use Power2Go which was on the computer when I bought it. I have approx. 160 albums on the USB stick saved as wma's. Each folder has the name of the artist and album which makes them easy to find. I have instant access to the USB drive on start up and it always starts where it was when I switched ...

Some people have different ideas of what reliability means to them. For me, so long as the car gets me to where I want to go, it's reliable. Any issues with things like the sat nav, air con, cruise control etc, I class as an inconvenience but not a reliability issue as they don't stop me from drivi...

Scratches on B piller from seat belt clip

Just noticed a few scratches and dints on the B pillar plastic covering, I think from the seat belt clip. Probably swmbo letting go of it !
Anybody else noticed this ?
Any ideas for how to protect - possibly plastic sheet ?

I had a rattle from the passenger seat that turned out to be the seat controls. The face plate was loose.
Dealer removed and refitted, now silent !

Hi Vespa, I was referring to your Passat engaging while manoeuvring.
The xe only auto engages parking brake on turning engine off - I think this came in with my17.
