Re: Key

Slip the chrome bit off. Inside you'll find the emergency key, pull it out and insert into the square hole and twist. This will pop the key case open and inside you'll find a standard 2032 lithium button cell, available at all good stockists. Takes about 30 seconds.

Re: Winter Wheel Transport & TPMS

I had no problems transporting my winter wheels back from the tyre fitters last year. They were in the boot and on the folded down rear seats.

Once the wheels were swopped the car just picked them up, so no problems there either.

Re: XE myths and facts

Hi Yugi, there's nothing wrong with your English. What phone do you have? Apple or Android? - There have been many complaints about Bluetooth dropping out and it seems Android has the most problems. There's a long thread on here about it and one fix if you have a Samsung phone is to change the versi...

Re: What happens at the end of the 3 year warranty?

My warranty expired in June. Slightly surprised I didn't get a call/email from the dealer trying to sell me an extended warranty... Currently running without one  For Jaguar Remote, I received an email to renew from Jaguar a few weeks befire it expired. Cost was £30 for the year and all exist...

Re: Random beeps

Not sure my AEB even works! I've never noticed any auto braking or beeps despite the fact that on a couple of occasions where I thought it would have activated, it hasn't. My dealer has checked the calibration and found nothing wrong and it's not throwing up any fault codes either. Perhaps I'll hav...

And occasionally, like today, the meet is at JLR Classic Works at Ryton.

Check their website Vespa linked above.

Re: Model XE cars

Has anyone found a larger model, preferably 1/18th? I have an X-type and would like to add to the stable. A Googly search has only thrown up a lot of spurious rubbish and not what I'm looking for. There are a few X-Types on the IXO (who make the genuine Jaguar XE) site, don't give the scale/size th...

Re: Model XE cars

Picked up a genuine Jaguar model when I was at JLR Classic Works for the June Breakfast Club meet. Only £25, perhaps they were flogging off old stock?. Anyway, matches my wheels, which I think were std. on the S if you didn't spec the Propellers.
