Re: It's Christmas!

but we should expect the same level of service as someone who can obviously spend on a whim. Who knows, our smaller value purchases may be the start of a long standing relationship, but not if we get shoddy service. I'm in no way saying you shouldn't get great service or anyone should get better se...

Re: A hesitation solution of sorts.....

Yes, both BMW and Jaguar use the ZF box (I think Mercedes do on some models too). One of (if not the) best boxes out there, and very customisable via software.

Try logging out of the app and login again. The session management on it is rather rubbish so sometimes it tells you you're logged in when you're not.

Re: It's Christmas!

I don't think myself or the majority of the membership are knobs to our dealers or act like they owe us a favour. So perhaps you might like to phrase that another way as it comes across a bit like we are. Oh that's not what I'm implying - I'd say 99% of the members here are decent people. However, ...

Re: Starting the engine remotely, then unlocking the car before the 30 minutes running time are up

It's amazing how many people don't understand remote start - on a couple of occasions I've had my reg announced over a tannoy because I've "left the engine running" and must "return to the vehicle immediately". I don't think I've ever used it when parked on the public highway, as when I park road si...

Re: It's Christmas!

You must let the rest of us know your secret so we can get the incredible service you do! It's no secret - they're human (kind of, can sales men be called human?), don't be a knob to them as if they owe you a favour (I've seen so many people do that) and buy things from them. I've spent about £160k...

Re: Multiple sets of wheels / TPMS

Awesome, thanks. They're brand new - boxed, so haven't got TPMS valves, but I'll get my tyre fitter to fit them when he sticks some tyres on them. Pauljobr - if you had the standard wheels fitted, the "light load" setting is 34PSI, but I think the "heavy load" setting is 37PSI - so if you change tha...

Re: Time for a Wipe Too

I've fitted bosch aerotwin wipers on mine - the original ones seem to have been a no-brand OEM jobbie. They do the job, but as has already been said - the life of them isn't what some might expect. I hate wiper squeak so as soon as they start squeaking I change them, I'm on my second set of Bosch. T...

Re: It's Christmas!

Called my dealer at 8:30, they've now been and picked it up and dropped of an F-Pace (which must be brand new as it only has 74 miles on the clock and the dealership is just under 50 miles away), should have it back this evening or tomorrow morning :)

Multiple sets of wheels / TPMS

I've managed to pick up a brand new set of propeller wheels for an absolute steal. Thinking about sticking some winter tyres on them and using them over the winter - and leaving the summer tyres on my existing wheels. Does anyone know the deal with TPMS if I do this? Will the car just pick up whatev...
