Re: My first Jag Reims Edition

My dealer tried tempting me with a Reims Edition before I purchased my 300 R-Dynamic HSE. I liked the look of it but not enough toys for me I'm afraid.

Re: Hey Guys

That looks really nice, I haven't seen any in silver around the area I live.

Vibration and Rumbling

Following on from the saga I had in my previous topic (link below) regarding the vibration and rumbling present in my XE, here is the latest episode. https://www.xeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=9079 The car went in this morning for further investigation and l received a voicemail this afternoon ...

Re: Squeak/rattle

I can’t decide which is worse, the build quality of the car, or the level of service in the dealerships. If it wasn’t so much fun to drive ( as long as the stereo is cranked up ) I’d have probably put a match to it by now I think they go hand in glove with each other. What gets me is they always de...

Re: Infotainment Software Update latest S20B 20.27.3-568398 (July 2020)

I take it you are getting your SOTA updates OK with your My20 ? No Phil, I'm not, which is rather annoying. As I mentioned previously, it's going in on Monday to hopefully fix the rumbling/vibration its had since new so will ask them to look at the SOTA issue at the same time, as well as the Gestur...

Re: Infotainment Software Update latest S20B 20.27.3-568398 (July 2020)

I think on new cars this should be made part of the PDI so the customer doesn't have this issue, however, seeing as in the past they haven't even removed the transport spring blocks from the suspension, I do wonder if OTA updates would be activated even then. For cars that haven't had this activated...

Re: Infotainment Software Update latest S20B 20.27.3-568398 (July 2020)

I think you all need to give the dealers a call. Often these things can be pushed out remotely. Excuse my ignorance but if the system has the ability to apply updates over the air, why should we then have to ask the dealer for the update? I thought the whole point of OTA updates was that an owner c...

Re: Infotainment Software Update latest S20B 20.27.3-568398 (July 2020)

I go to the setting pretty much every time I get in the car, never an update available. 🤷‍♂️ Same with me, I never had an OTA update on my previous 240 and I haven't had one on my current 300. I've been on 19C since collecting the car in March and check at least once a week and yes, I do have a goo...

Re: Goodbye FPace / Hello XE

Sorry to stray off topic here but Bruce, in your signature you say you have a 300 HSE R-dynamic with RWD. Is that special to the Australian market or is it the UK market that's different because to get the 300 HSE R-dynamic here we have to have AWD, not that I'm complaining as it sure puts the power...

Re: Brake lights out?

They probably do all know about it but think that us Joe Public are all thick and they can make a few quid by charging us for work that they won't actually do, they'll just mess around with the contacts like is advised on here!
