2300 miles so far and not had any warnings etc about it, (Yet). i suppose that under normal driving using the full rev range etc. allows it to clean in the background, as it burns off in varying temperatures, or not build up at all.

If this comes to pass, will road fund licence and fuel duty be removed? Somehow i don't think so, as government will just add it as another vehicle tax. :shock:

If it shows in the activity stream section (the lower box, usually with a big list of codes and descriptors), it may not necessary be needed on your car, that seems to be a summary of all activities related to the XE models overall, it would usually be shown in the field actions section (the top box).

Well, update as to the problem i had, i've reloaded a new 64GB USB stick and inserted it in the car, and it hasn't glitched since, starts up where it left off every time (so far), i had a sandisk 64GB USB stick but it was a small unit and slotted away nicely ( very little protruding), the new one is...

I think the OTA updates happen automatically in the back ground for minor changes, as mine hasn't been to the dealers but it shows an upgrade was done on 01.02.2019, previous to that it was prior to my picking the car up last October, i think big software updates/upgrades have to be done at the deal...
