Re: AirCon refresh

Mine just got a new condenser due to a leak in the joint between the condenser and the pipe at the bottom left corner. Both condenser and pipe were changed under warranty. Initially the shop regassed the system since it passed a vacuum test but it was empty again within a week.

Re: Windscreen Washer Fluid Loss

Thanks Phil, I did find that picture. The way the assembly is fitted in the car puts the filler tube level or possible below the vent pipe. I agree that slushing around will occur and some of the dripping I see under the car could also be from the vent tube but the visible spill in my case was aroun...

Re: Windscreen Washer Fluid Loss

After hard braking, e.g. someone turning out in front of you, I experience a strong whiff of washer fluid though the vents. Immediately after such an event there is a spill under the bonnet around the filler cap and some dripping under the car. The loss of fluid is significant but when the tank is b...

Re: Air Conditioning - blowing hot air

Just to report another failing AC. Mine died two weeks ago (Sept 16 build) resulting in hot air in the vents. It passed a vacuum test and was refilled but now a week later it is warm again, obviously with a small leak somewhere. Noted a different sound from the wents as it got warm, a higher more me...

Re: BODY SIDE MOULDINGS

75% aluminium, the rest is steel and found in e.g. doors, boot lid and a piece of the floor under the rear seat. My MY 2017 has magnetic doors.

Re: BODY SIDE MOULDINGS

Just saw an ad on magnetic side mouldings. As others have noted they will not look good but the possibility for taking them off once leaving the supermarket car park would be a plus.

Re: New 17C update now live.

With the update I have the WiFi hot spot under the Connectivity tab but don't have, and never had, WiFi or mobile data. Never used the hot spot . . . . . Mine is a model year 17, sept 2016 build.

Re: New 17C update now live.

I was referring to that the MY2017 in Scandinavia, as far as I know, do not have the hardware for the Connect, e.g. the centre console SIMcard slot, so those parts of the ICTP is not visible to me. This is however changing now since I saw an E-Pace in the showroom with mentioned SIMcard slot. My dea...

Re: New 17C update now live.

Thanks for asking about the NAV voice commands or I would have missed it. I had to go out to have a look and yes, I can now turn voice control on for navigation and asked the car to guide me home which it did. Will have to test this further to find out how much functionality I got e.g. if I can add ...

Re: New 17C update now live.

I now got the ICTP software updated. Since the last update in mid October I have been struggling with a very slow start up but it now seems to be fixed. So far no problems, fingers crossed, with all functionality accessible soon after I open the door. I only had the slow start up problem, the system...
