Re: Long live the oil burner

Does anyone remember the solar panel car? That didn’t last long. Later this year a German manufacturer will launch a solar powered car, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLZKdkgB85k Both Hyundai and Kia are incorporating the latest generation of Solar roof panels in their next generation of cars, the...

Re: Long live the oil burner

Audi has just introduced a mild hybrid V6 diesel , in the new S4, S5, S6 & S7 ranges, so they definitely see a future in diesel.
The 345hp diesel in the new S6 and S7 replace the V8 petrol from the previous generation of car :o

Re: Corris Grey gone.

If you ever have a spare few minutes go and build a full-fat Range Rover on the Land-Rover website. There are some stunning colours available................for an extra £6000+ ! I went for the Spectral Racing Red - Duo Tone Paint £15,625, a snip when the car is now configured at £212,000!!!!...

Re: Corris Grey gone.

Try watching the colours of cars you see on the road, red is probably the most popular, green the least. White is very common because of contracts, and other colours cost extra. 2018 top 10 most popular UK car colour sales and new Jaguar XE 2019 colours- UK Colour Sales 2018 New Jaguar XE colours 2...

Re: The Grand Tour

The last programme of the series was somewhat emotional. Apparently Ford will be stopping the Mondeo and it won’t be replaced - the end of the line. We were taken back through Cortinas (or Dagenham Dustbins as they were always known), through the Sierra (jelly moulds), including the game changing C...

Re: Congratulations Jaguar

Brilliant indeed, however they can't make enough of the I-Pace, I was in my Jaguar dealer on Monday and they are taking build slot orders for December. If only some of that spare capacity or a line could be opened up at a UK plant to increase production. Remember Austria is in the EU and post the 'B...

Re: Project Redrum

Snailedit , can you tell me if on the after picture of the front's are the tyres proud of the wheel arch at the top? in the UK that is illegal, you would have to have wheel arch extensions fitted, the tyre must be inside of the wheel arch.

Re: Anyone still looking for a new V6 XE-S (380)

It does mean that with the introduction of the facelifted "MK 2" coming out there will be some bargains to be had Apparently Jaguar have managed the run out of the MK1 XE stock very well, when I asked my dealer what was available last week, there's not too much stock vehicles available. This is con...

Re: Wiper danger

Hi all. Discovered a new problem today. I decided to replace my wiper blades today. After a bit of faffing about, I managed to get the wipers into the service position as per the handbook. I had Bosch replacements as bought in Halfords. Changed the driver side with no problem, and was busy on the p...
