Re: USB connection to the phone cradle

In my XF I popped off the piece of console at the rear where the two vents are and found under the lining of the centre console cubby there was a handy hole. I ran the cable through that and out the back, then tucked it under the passenger side of the central console to bring it back forward. My Br...

They should also incur the tax increases for vehicles over £40.000 like everybody else.
They do.

Re: 20” xf wheels

Don’t some XEs have staggered wheels (rear wider than front)? No current XFs do.

Re: Keyless start

Are you sure it’s not the low battery warning for the car’s battery? Does it actually say “Smart key battery low”?

Re: Finding a rare spec.

Without even looking up the VIN it will a paragon fleet solutions car because of the reg OW (or OV or OY). It could of been anything from the managers car, vmax200, avis rental, magazine car or anything regardless of what the advert says. I've seen them all. Yes I’m aware of the meaning of the plat...

Re: Finding a rare spec.

Looking at the XF, how does it compare to the XE dynamically? I’ve only driven a 180 diesel XE as a courtesy car but I was surprised how similar it felt to my XF-S. The XF is bigger obviously but it drives a lot ‘smaller’ than it is, if that makes sense. It’s an agile car for its size. The supercha...

Re: Finding a rare spec.

The XF will have been a JLR staffer’s own car for a year. I’d say it’d have not worse an effect on the value than a car that’s been a demonstrator.

Re: Finding a rare spec.

Red 380 low mileage and all the options? Including no sunroof. I haven't looked at history mind. Wrong red I know but it's red and the only one in stock just coming off ex demonstrator. Literally the only 380 in red. https://used.jaguar.co.uk/search#/details/2869031 Wow, that’s expensive for a pret...

Re: Car badly scratched by some B%$*&£$

That’s going to need a fair bit of paint. I can recommend City Centre Car Care in Birmingham. They repaired my wife’s Mazda after a bin lorry sideswiped it when it was 3 months old and you can’t tell. They also did my Dad’s XF that got rear ended by another lorry, equally high quality work, in Itali...
