Re: 2020 XE build

My issue is that the dealer cannot order the 2020 yet, so I cannot get a 2020 model when my XE lease expires end of August. But I don't really want to buy a 2019 that late in the year.

Re: 2020 XE build

At least for me, the 2020 XE comes out cheaper than the 2019 XE. The fundamental reason is that to get leather seats in the 2019 XE you have to go to the prestige trim, while it's standard in 2020 XE. I guess many people felt it was too cheap of jaguar to put vinyl seats in the cars, so they made le...

Re: 2020 XE build

I don't know if it has been there all the time, but I just found out now: you can build a 2020 XE under 'future vehicles,' while still being able to build 2019 XE under current vehicles. Perfect. I want to compare, to see if I should get 2019 or wait for 2020.

Re: Ingenium vs Ecobost

I think your best bet would be to take one for a test drive, then you will have a direct comparison without relying on others opinions. I am very happy with my Ford based engine, ample power, smooth, quiet and plenty of torque, as I'm sure others are very happy with their Ingeniums, but like you, i...

Ingenium vs Ecobost

How does the 240HP Ingenium engine compare with the 240 HP Ford ecoboost engine that were in the early models of the XE? I have the Ecobost engine, and really like it, so I want to find out if I get a new XE model if the 240HP Ingenium engine is similar (or better!). I couldn't find any reviews spec...

Re: 2020 XE build

The British site has the 2020, so at least I can kind of compare specs of 2019 between and 2020, if not US prices.

As said, since I have to get a new car in August, it should be possible to get either 2019 or 2020, so I want to find out which is better with my preferred configuration.

Re: 2020 XE build

So, updating the website was perhaps a glitch. I'm looking to get a new car in August, when my lease on my current XE expires. I could go with either 2019 or 2020 -- I don't think the difference is huge. It really depends on what comes out most cost efficient for the options I want -- for example, I...

2020 XE build

I'm a little confused here. I was able to build a 2020 XE on the jaguarusa.com website. But now when I went back, it has reversed to the 2019 XE. This seems odd.

Re: New Jaguar XE Facelift Revealed

Well, I don't know. Actually, after going through the configurator, it seems more expensive now. If I want the P300 I also have to get AWD and sports trim etc, which I don't want. Before I could get the 300 engine separately. I think that my preferred trim has increased $3000.

Re: New Jaguar XE Facelift Revealed

My XE lease expires in August, so I'm thinking I will get one of these (if I stay with Jaguar). I think they look better from the outside, and also nice there is standard leather (in US at least). They also seem somewhat cheaper for the configuration I want. But I will miss the rotary selector -- it...
