Re: Observation Skills

Twice today I have had to stand on my brakes because people have pulled out without seeing my car - one of which was on a 60mph road! I’m not sure either of them at any point realised I was there. How can they not see my car with its daylight running lights on? I’m starting to wonder now if I shoul...

Re: Leather seat cleaner

Hi I use Gliptone leather conditioner and if needed the cleaner on my XE's leather seats. Gliptone have some of the best leather products available. I also use it on a high quality leather 3 piece suite that I own, so I buy the big size bottle Even though I know it will be OK I always test first on ...

the jaguar fitted turbo can be a bit fragile and some owners have had failures

I would not want to remap to get extra boost from it

Re: TPMS Working As It Should

Drove it 2 miles to local tyre dealer and it was plugged for £20 Cost me the same - a fraction under £20 incl VAT. TBH, I don't understand how they can do it for this price; took about 45 mins in all. I have always used this tyre dealer for nearly 30 years as they price match/beat the cheapest onli...

Re: TPMS Working As It Should

On 3 mile journey home last night front drivers side warning showed 31 psi, on arriving home I inspected the tyre and found a nail without head in a repairable area. I blew it up to 37psi and this morning it still showed same pressure. Drove it 2 miles to local tyre dealer and it was plugged for £20...

Re: Bigger brakes

Hi I did not think you need to upgrade the brakes as Jaguar have obviously determined the size of brake discs required for each of the XE variants. I stated that I thought it better to spend money on useful accessories rather than an unnecessary upgrade when the standard parts are more than adequate...

Re: Bigger brakes

At the maximum legal speed limit of 70 mph in the UK I am positive that the standard brakes are more than adequate. They are even good enough for the people who like to break the speed limit. Why waste money (£265 ?) on an item that is totally unnecessary ? Just for bragging rights Spend your money ...

Re: Hi From Sunny Toongabbie

hi

that's a very nice looking car

you need to get some miles under your belt now to enjoy the experience and pose a bit to make the other Ossies jealous.

Have you tried talking in queens English rather than Ossie ? Voice command is probably struggling with G'day, strewth etc. :D :D :D :D
