Or maybe the slipping reluctor ring just slipped back to it’s original position

What I'd like to see is full clarity over the cetane ratings of diesels. At the moment, Petrols have to have the Octane rating clearly indicated at the pumps. I think the same should be done for diesel Cetane. Both have benefits to the way a car will run, both should have a minimum standard. Why ca...

Haven’t used premium in diesel in 25 years of diesel ownership. Only ever buy the cheapest diesel available, regardless of brand. Never had a problem.

Found this old post by Vespa.... There was a service recall for the camshaft position sensor around 12 months back. H027 was the code and was valid under warranty for TWO years only (dated August 2017). That should still have you well in the warranty with luck. Here is part of that H027 Publication ...

See, my better MPG was going down as well, :lol: Definitely something in this.... Peak District to Hertford (darn sowf) 149 miles, average speed 54mph, 63 mpg.... Hertford to Peak District (oop norf) 149 miles, 55mph, 58.4 mpg More evidence of sloping terrain..... darn sowf to Aylesbury 114 miles, ...
