Re: Can DSC be turned off permanently?

I know the feeling Mike, frightens her indoors, and she thinks its something I am doing, I had it recently where I exited a roundabout, and the back end squirmed about all over the place, I think dsc is doing its job, as I didn't actually loose it, but after ST220 experience, of engine power being d...

Re: Can DSC be turned off permanently?

I find the same thing in damp Mike, I put it into wet weather mode, when I am pulling out of junctions etc I asked question of Tech as to whether traction control was working, as you get no lights on dash to say it has kicked in, but he said that is how Jag works. So I basically have 2 driving modes...

Re: Stop/Start again a few thoughts

I have measured the voltage with a meter and it (both80 & 90) hold 12.6v when charged. The 80 drops to 12.2v after a couple of days. I don't know much about the S/S system software, but I do know that keeping an AGM battery at those sort of voltages seriously degrades it's performance and reduces i...

Re: Gear lockup

I had 2 occasions when odd things happened, once while reversing, selector went into P which stopped car with a clonk, that made me think I had hit something, second time I drove off in drive, and about 50 - 100 yards down the road it switched into N, when they had it in, they checked it out no faul...

Re: Faults coming up on dash

But it seems software update may not be fixing, mine has just popped message up again, less than 3 months since last time, getting really fed up with this car now, (to qualify this statement Jag CRC involved after balance shaft debacle)

Re: Topix

I think someone else on here had this, and account had to be re-enabled, although I can't answer why new account won't work, I can't remember if when you set up account, whether you should get a verification email. might be worth checking spam folder on relevant account. I emailed lrsup@jaguarlandro...

Re: Low rev cabin vibration and “tinny” exhaust noise

Hope you have more luck than me, muppets at Westover Christchurch messed about swapping wheels with a demo car, when I clearly demonstrated to tech, it was an engine vibration, absolutely nothing to do with the B****y wheels, and as for their communication, well that sucks, I shall be contacting Jag...
