Re: Swapped the XE for an XF Sportbrake!

It's funny how both the XE and the XF are very similar cars but very different to drive. I've had several XF's as courtesy cars in the past and wasn't too keen on them because as Gojira says they are a bit barge-like compared to the XE. On each occasion I was keen to get my XE back, as in my opinion...

Re: Prospective new owner

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Jag. They are built in this country, have character, are stylish and great cars to drive. Once driven you will be smitten. if you can afford it, go for the latest facelift. If not then anything onward from the 2017 facelift will be good. Just make certain the car has rea...

Re: Can rear wheel alignment be adjusted?

I am about to book my car in for a wheel alignment and wondering whether to book in for four wheels or just the front ones. I understand that some rear wheels can be adjusted whilst others cannot. Does anyone know what the score is on the rear wheel drive XE. Four wheel alignment is not only possib...

Re: Front bumper damage - repairable?

About four years ago I was walking past my local independent car dealership and noticed this chap making good minor damage to the cars before being put up for sale. I had similar damage to yours on my Mazda at the time and so I approached him. He quoted me about £150 to do the necessary work to my c...

Welcome to the forum blue_Phil. I don't think you will be so blue after you have been behind the wheel of your new Jag. :D

Re: How often do you wash your car

Apologies - I wasn't trying to be facetious. I just had visions of the Nenette car cleaning brush which I am old enough to remember my Father trying back in the 1950s. This really was liquid-less and was a brush which was slightly oily and which was supposed to lift dust off car paint. It sort of w...

Re: How often do you wash your car

Perhaps Bazzamf could send close up before and after pics next time they clean the car? Hi Indianajons, Have a look at this post. It shows photos I put on a post in Nov 2019 headed "Would you do this to your Jag???" and is typical of the state of my car before and after I clean it. I've had the car...

Re: Jaguar to be all electric by 2025

How is the Government to cover the lost tax revenue when we stop buying petrol/diesel and not paying road tax? No doubt they will dream up some idea like charging a per mile rate to use the roads. The tech is already here. However, I may not be driving in ten years time, so I am not too concerned.
