Low rev cabin vibration and “tinny” exhaust noise

Hi all, I have a RWD MY16 180d R sport, for a few months now I’ve been hearing a “tinny” thudding noise from the exhaust area inside and outside of the cabin, always when revs get to around 850 and below, I thought it may have been due to cold weather (though it hadn’t ever happened during past 2 wi...

Re: Is BF65 YFM On the forum?

My driver side brake light was out a few months back, dodgy connection I think, so I took it in and they fixed it. Funnily enough, I was driving down the dual carriageway to work this morning and saw another XE with his light out in the same position - must be a common fault - annoying though!

Re: R-Sport IRR with Black Roof and Skirt

This looks beautiful!! So, Farnell Jaguar, are they just a dealership or do they do different mods, etc. The black and red combo looks stunning, really makes the car stand out! I have a black XE R-sport (still in the garage after 6 weeks following my 3rd party insurance claim for the rear bumper-.-)...

Re: Any experience of Jaguar x Kinderton?

Sorry to hear about the accident, always a worrying and stressful time! I haven't been too lucky with the car this year either, I have been given a Micra, Astra and Seat Ibiza for courtesy cars, whilst garages chopped and changed their repair centres due to specialisms etc. My XE has been off the ro...

Another injured XE

A few weeks ago, I was driving home from work, pulling out of a junction and in lane, when a silver 55reg astra came steaming down at around 70mph (40 Zone) swerving around the road, when he clipped my jutting out rear bumper and wheel. The Jag is in S J Curtis in Bristol after my insurance companie...

Re: Oh no, a puncture! With a pleasant ending

That really is amazing service. I have a Rybrook centre in Bristol, but bought the car from Guy Salmon (Sytner) Jaguar, and the service is diabolical. They try to money grab, exaggerate, are unprofessional and totally negative (apart from when selling the car) I was wondering if tehre was any way at...

Re: Jag Service Scheme

Very poor service from local Jag garage in Bristol. Nothing ever seems simple. They wouldn’t carry out service to car due to damage to undertray which I am getting replaced. You have to wait at leat an hour before you can even talk to somebody, despite booking a time slot. In th health check report ...
