Its definitely updating the gateway module that correct the problem. took me 4 goes with the dealership but when they did that it has worked perfectly ever since however long the journey. If anybody gets the excuse that its short journeys its rubbish. Ask them to update the gateway module

I got the 250 because it was a good deal in Portfolio trim. Would have been happy with 200PS. MPG is amazing, I get 50 MPG at 70-80 on the motorway and such a good grunt when you put your foot down round the country lanes.

rattle from driver air vent area

My 2018 XE Petrol has had various squeaks and ticking noises from various places which I have managed to resolve with dry lubricant. An occasional rattle remains which seems to come from the driver window vent area only when going over rough ground at speed. Any ideas what it might be and get resolv...

ho sorry for slow response - mine was with Shortfall Insurance through Mapfre.

Not sure about diamond cut as not sure what this means. the policy states

This policy will not provide cover for:
 Split rim construction, chrome rim, multi-piece or chrome finished Alloy Wheels

my dealer updated the software a couple of weeks ago (fourth time of putting in because S/S not working) and this has solved the problem. S/S nearly always operates before engine has even reached normal operating temperature

I have an insurance policy for the alloys as i'm always scuffing them. was about £150 for three years and covers 3 alloys per year
