Re: Drive mode self-changing.

does the trip and av mpg also zero?
If so this is symptomatic of a battery disconnect of some sort as this data as well as the screen layout is not retained after disconnect.
Driving mode, however, should default to ECO even after disconnect

Re: Drive mode self-changing.

I have a 16 plate prestige 200, and it always defaults to eco mode , and the screen layout never alters. The only time it ever did was after a battery disconnect.

Re: Keyless crime - switch off

First question. Do you actually have keyless entry or the standard remote key. Standard remote key you have no issues. It is only the keyless.
Easiest way is to put remotes in a RFID (Faraday) pouch overnight. This blocks the signAl so gets rid of the problem

Re: Service date

My jag is 2 on the 7 March and due it's first service, or is it. Here's the problem. 2 years or 21000 miles it currently got 16500 on the clock with just over 2 months to go. I've now got a warning message on the screen every time I start up telling me the service is due in 1500 miles. That's takin...

Re: Turbo upgrade?

Speak to these people
www.celtictuning.com.au

They are a UK based tuning company with a very good reputation. They will not tune outside the manufacturers recommended tolerances

Re: Turbo upgrade?

Major part of a remap is increasing the turbo pressure on existing turbo. They normally run at a much reduced pressure to ensure longevity Increasing this pressure and remapping when the turbo kicks in gives you your increased power. Downside is of course potential reduced lifetime

Re: Disconnecting XE battery for 6 weeks

Have just started my XE in the last couple of days after 8 weeks of no use. It regularly has 4 to 6 weeks idle and starts up again with no problems
