Re: Apple CarPlay Issues

It’s a bit hit and miss for me as well but it’s definitely related to plugging in too early. It could be related to the start up time of the system which also seems to be fairly variable.

Re: Apple CarPlay Issues

I have exactly the same experience and like you I think that it is related to plugging in too early. Mine is an iPhone 6s running iOS 12.3.1 and ICTP release 19A.

Re: Apple CarPlay and Incoming calls

I tried it last night as well and it didn’t work. On tapping CarPlay, it informed me that it had to disconnect the phone from InControl Apps which then put me back in the same situation with the phone connected via CarPlay and no sound on incoming calls.

Re: Apple CarPlay and Incoming calls

This was posted on the F-Pace forum. You could give it a try. I haven’t tried it myself yet.

Re: Hello from London

You can certainly get 40 mpg on a motorway run. We drove from Ballarat to Melbourne which is around 120km (75 miles) this weekend and managed just over 40 mpg at the outskirts of the city. That’s doing a constant 100 to 110 km/h most of the way (60 to 70 mph) and fairly flat terrain. Then of course ...

Re: Hello from London

Totally agree Phil. Two buttons to press after the start button. Auto stop/start off, dynamic on. They’re so close to each other you can do both at once!

Re: Cup Holder

I believe that it is possible. Someone on here a while back was selling the parts required. Have a search and you’ll find the details.

Re: Question for the detailing experts

The dash top is synthetic.

I use a damp microfibre cloth to wipe down and then buff off with a dry microfibre

I avoid vacuuming the piano black as it introduces light scratches.
