The seats are for heat, battery is for your phone battery and bars are the phone signal as you have on your phone It takes some hunting in the manual to find some info.

I have oyster and I just give it a clean every 6/7 weeks. So far no problems but I don't wear denims.
Only wear I have is the black velvet on the entry on drivers side. Don't leave any dirt long term and that should help a lot.

Update, XE passed MoT OK but warned serious corrosion on rear discs. Will need a topup of Adblue in the next few months as down to 2000miles left. I am low mileage so it maybe 4 months. I will go to my local Jeg dealer due to the problems noted on this forum. I decided to go for the extended warrant...

Welcome to this great forum. I'm from Fife and I love my Jag. Torque is amazing as is economy. Due first MOT next week and needs rear discs replaced but apart from that faultless. The info on this forum is excellent and very little crud!
