Re: Traffic warning sign

I just assumed the sign recognition system was smoking the same stuff as the navigation system.

Re: Nulcear night

Sainsbury's have got xmas mince pies in now with a sell-by date of next February. Easy to spot as they glow..................... I thought that was the old porridge that did that? (see how old you are now if you remember that ad)  It was the ReadyBrek advert. Or they could just...

Re: Diesel Fuel and water

I saw that program. I think two things where potentially happening there. Water in the fuel was entirely possible. Being royally stiffed by the garage was pretty much definite. I've had a batch of fuel ( diesel )with water in it from a Sainsbury's forecourt. No problems - fill up - immediate problem...

Re: Excessive Outer Shoulder Tire Wear

Usually increasing negative camber results in inner edge wear. I've noticed the car seems to work the outer edges hard. I'll get the IR probe on it next time I'm out and see just how much they are being worked. From the driver's seat, I find the front doing most of the work unless you pitch it in ag...

Re: Xe,s hesitation problem

Check all the hoses on the inlet side are secure. Also, with torque app, you can look at the airflow. If you see rapidly fluctuating airflow at this engine speed, it could be a duff MAP or MAF sensor.

Re: New Police Car?

I'd imagine that if you are hoofing it in an electric car, the range will drop pretty quickly. I was chatting to a salesman at my dealer about the iPace. Their normal test drive route is about 9 miles on A and B roads. After a "spirited" test by one customer from full charge it had lost 35% of it's...
