Re: 3rd Brake Light

Then you should have the benifit of the warranty following the suppliers repair. Clearly a faulty item was fitted and therefore not a satisfactory repair.

If you look on the ZF web site you will find and contrary to what most car manufactures state, clear advice their gearboxes should have the oil changed! This link actually provides time/distance recommendations for an oil change: https://www.zf.com/unitedkingdom/en_gb/corporate/aftermarket/spare_par...

Re: Rear Wheel Arch - Parking damage

Interesting and I recall that years ago many body shops would take out a minor dent with a bit of fettling and filler but it does seem nowadays even for the tiniest of dents this is a no no. I guess I can understand aluminium having its own characteristics but I can also see in a very few years’ tim...

Re: XE 2016-18 2l Diesel Recall

Bobs reference would appear to be the most accurate and yes it does seem petrols are affected but to the tune of a relatively small number of cars. Many thanks Domfow, I did wonder whether these year 14/64 plate cars were not for general consumption.

Re: XE 2016-18 2l Diesel & 2.0L petrol 2018 Recall

Found this, it gives production dates. https://car-recalls.eu/listing/jaguar-xe-2014-2018/ Notification_A11_0014_19_en.pdf Interesting to see it notes diesel XE cars from: 10. 10. 2014 - 20. 11. 2018. Forgive my ignorance but were any made/sold in 2014? I've certainly never seen any 14 plates. On a...
