Re: Stop/Start again a few thoughts

Just thought this post may amuse some of the authors on this topic. I needed to change my old runaround last week and decided to purchase a 2015 Dacia Logan. It is basic, very economical and has a very large boot. My start/stop in my XE has never worked and been in once to be fixed and still did not...

Re: Approved used car dishonesty?

There maybe some very helpful members on here that could check the service history for you through the TOPIX system. This would save a wasted journey. You may need the VIN but all service history for Jaguars is stored online.

Re: Approved used car dishonesty?

I have bought 2 XF's and my present XE all from an authorised Jaguar dealer. They offered a full service history a 2 years approved Jaguar warranty. When I had to use the warranty the issue was fixed at no cost to me. The car may be more expensive from an authorised dealer but it gives peace of mind...

Re: 500MB Data usage in 2 weeks?

I'm not sure if I can help on the cause but i put in a 12 meg sim card (from 3) in June 2018. It stopped working in June 2019 and did not realise it had a 12 month shelf life! I have now replaced it with a 24 meg card, a bargain on Amazon Prime day :D. I have the standard maps with traffic alerts an...

Re: XE or XF

I had 2 XF's and now the XE. I loved both but prefer the XE for its compactness and ride. One thing I would strongly advise if you go for an XF that does not have drl/xenon's, give it a test drive at night. My XF had halogens and it was like driving in candlelight! One of the main reasons I changed ...

Re: Independent Jaguar Specialists

Just need to make sure they do use genuine Jaguar parts. I colleague of mine used a garage that did not use the specified Jaguar oil. Unfortunately the engine blew and was not covered by warranty! This was several years ago now so I'm sure these specialist garages use all the genuine parts. Worth a ...

Re: XF 3.0 Supercharged to XE S?

I went from the 3.0 litre XF to the XES and have never regretted it. The drive is an absolute pleasure. The one thing I miss from my XF is the air conditioned seats but this is compensated by the electric sun roof (I could not be without it), when open can really hear the exhaust noise which is awes...
