Re: Pela 6000 oil pump

The Land Rover Discovery 4 didn't have a sump drain plug either. I was rather surprised when I read about it.

Re: New (Used) xe from dealer - Engine Management Light..

Thanks all Car is back with the dealer now & waiting to hear the verdict. I'm now driving a courtesy XF (which I also considered getting) & glad that I opted for the XE, much nicer drive IMHO. Same here. When I took my car in for it's service and a minor repair which would take 2 days. The service ...

I phoned up the dealer and booked it in for a week later. They said it would be safety drive until then. Af...

Re: MOT's Important information.

An MOT certificate lasts for 12 months. It doesn't matter if it was done late, the 12 months start from issue date.

Re: Ad Blue Incorrect Quality and 512 mile Warning

My car came up with a warning saying about 1000 miles left. I topped it up with a 4 litre bottle of ad blue and it cleared straight away. I put another 4 litre is the next day for good measure. I know it will take about 12 litres but I would rather under fill it that overfill it. It seems there are ...

Re: JLR IT strikes again....

It may not be the app that was at fault. Sometimes things don't download properly or completely. Some info could have been corrupted. Seeing as it affected 2 devices, it may even have been an error with something at the app store.

Re: Jaguar XE Minor Quirks and Annoyances

Bazzamf..... my allusion to Metallica melodies may be a tad tongue in cheek. Their seminal album Kill 'em all and its key track The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse are admittedly not overly melodic. My poorly made point was that an old tech CD player is much missed.....I wouldn't know a memory stick f...
