Re: H110

My 2 year old car had this "goo" applied sometime before I bought it last year. I only noticed it a few days later when I was cleaning it. It is a clear silicone type material. And as a previous poster mentioned, it looks like a monkey with a new toy had applied it. Not even smoothed over afterwards.

Vespa. I too am amused by the "see you later" or similar comment. I have often though, if it is an attractive sales person of saying "Ooh, are we going on date? What time?"

Re: One for the audiophiles...

I tried a usb stick when I first got my car, was a bit of a gaff setting it up. Then after a while I remembered I had an old iPod in a cupboard. I loaded a bunch of music from my computer and just plugged it in the central compartment. It worked straight away and I can choose to play albums, artists...

Re: First Jaguar

Yep, I have the back pack too. I think it looks great with certain coloured cars. (I have a Corris Grey model). Like you, I also have the all black seats which is quite unusual in the R Sport. Most seem to have 2 tone leather. They can look good but I think some colour combinations can look a bit ga...

Re: Car broken into?

My alarm went off once when the car was parked in my driveway, a minute later I had a call from Jaguar saying my alarm had actuated. I don't think it is the tracker, it is just that if the alarm goes off it "calls home".

Re: Greeting from Italy

Welcome Agatti. My mother is Italian and I have many relatives in Italy. I have visited the county many times. I have driven all over the south and visited places such as Lecce, Bari, Naples, driven the whole Amalfi coast and been to Sorento, Salerno, Paestum, etc. I have also stayed in Milan, Rome...

Re: USB connection to the phone cradle

I seem to recall others have run the cable from the USB socket backwards under the arm rest hinge then run it forwards to the cradle. The sides of the console are flexible enough to tuck the cable underneath where it meets the carpet. Saves having to remove it. Interesting ! I didn't think of it. T...
