Re: 160 hp vs 180hp diesel advice

I have an XF 180 Diesel and today have a 163BHP XE R-Sport courteset car and after around 40 miles of driving on motorway and windy roads i really can't tell the difference between the two (possibly as the XF is a bit heavier). The only thing that really puts me off is that I hate the back end with ...

Re: XE or XF

I have both and overall prefer the XF due to it being more comfortable and quieter on long journeys - I have an XF Portfolio model (I wanted tan seats) so it has 'comfort' suspension. As above, its horses for courses - if I am going on a country road drive then I would take the XE everytime as it ha...

Re: Cleaning Time

The megs wheel cleaner https://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-cleaning/wheel-tyre-cleaning/meguiars-ultimate-wheel-cleaner is really good - as in its gentle on your alloys - normally £16.00 and currently around £12.00 - I have a Jaguar Owners Club Halfords which gives another 15% off that price so no...

It depends on the age of the car.
Twin pipes on one side used to be for 180 diesels.
Two separate pipes used to be for the higher powered petrols.
Recently I seem to recall that the later higher powered diesel also had the separate pipes.
The 240BHP Diesel definately has the seperate pipes.

Re: Jaguar XE | World First In-Car Cashless Fuel Payment

I had an e-mail a couple of days ago to say Shell are binning the Driver's Club reward points system. It had an offer to join their new "rewards" system with another app of course. I think I'll defect over to BeePee where I can simply use my Nectar card. I remember the S had a tankfull of their Ult...

Re: Good Bye to the XE

Looking good - it’s a real shame they stopped doing the XF in BRG - I wanted this colour as it goes well with tan coloured seats so had to settle with black.

Re: Power loss

So further to my previous post, the car hit 3000 miles and we experienced the same problem and it didn't seem to go away - it always felt hesitant when pulling away and would only accelerate smoothly if you were gentle with the accelerator - which kind of defeats the point of the car. So car went in...

Looks like the 20” Jaguar Matrix Alloy which you can get on the XF.
