Re: heated front seats

Re: New EU Ruling fits ALL cars with speed limiters

Speed is nowhere near as dangerous as stupidity, the real problem arises when the two are combined, then everyone who creeps over the limit for wheatever reason gets tarred with the same brush.

Re: New EU Ruling fits ALL cars with speed limiters

Have you ever noticed that if you don’t clear your screen all the way to the top on a frosty morning your car can’t read to road signs 😉

Now if only you could find a no adhesive film that you could apply in front of the lens

It actually caused a rear spring to snap due to excessive downforce.
I suspect it was just another dodgy spring, it was the plaque of the average car market in that period :)

Re: Climate Control Not Working Correctly?

The issues we have seen before are when either side is blowing at a different temperature (despite the temp being set the same or synched). I think there was an SSM of some kind a couple of years ago and it was due to some flap or something not opening properly plus the usual software update. I hav...

Re: Your opinion please

Did a bit of research last night and I came to the same conclusion as you Prof. Interesting to read above that the petrol Ingenium engine has the balance shafts but no reported problems that I can find anywhere. Bob It’s an interesting engine family, why the diesels should suffer and the petrols no...

Re: Your opinion please

From everything I have read it appears to be only diesels. The Ford petrol engined ones are fine and I have seen no reports of the new ingenium petrol engine having a problem, I am not even sure that petrol engines need the balance shafts. Bob Any piston engine could have a balance shaft included i...
