Re: Parking sensors permanently off?

Not much help to you, but this happened to me once, well the front sensor part anyway - I nearly parked against a pile of bricks. I parked and locked the car and when I came back 20 minutes later it was all working again??

Timing cover oil leak

I had my 180D away to my nearest dealer (200 mile ferry trip to Aberdeen - it was meant to tie in with a holiday, but Coronavirus effed that up) for it's 21k service a couple of weeks ago. The service went fine, but they found a significant leak from the timing cover - which seemed odd as I'd never ...

That's an impressive shot!
Cheers, wanted to make the car stand out more but then the sky looked crap - would need some fancy filters. If it ever gets sunny again I'll have another :o

Gorgeous black one - I tinted the windows, lowered it and put on RS Turbo wheels. The first one I had was 1984 one in a light metallic green - it mu...

Re: what's your car trade in history to your 1st Jaguar?

Waited 30 years for mine.. 1990... Started with a 1984 Austin Mastro 1.6GL (bought for £400, 2 weeks of welding, sanding and filling - cut a hole in the roof and put in a Fiat Uno sunroof and painted it with Dulux gloss... Passed driving test in it, then sold for £900 - the only car I've made money ...

Re: Infotainment Software Update S19B_19.35.5-418001

Just installed S19B update on mine - never received any notifications (I did for 19A) but I searched for an update and there it was. All working fine, and the CarPlay thingy seems very good! Whole system seems a good deal less clunky now.

Re: Excessive Outer Shoulder Tire Wear

Exactly the same on mine (18" wheels at 13k) and the rears are pretty even. I also go a bit quick in the twisty bits - which are pretty much everywhere up here. I'm getting new tyres this week and was going to get the alignment checked anyway, but maybe it's just the way they're set up?

Re: Alloy tyre valve caps - looked great..but..

I had similar on my MG Maestro years back. Personally, I wonder who is going to notice. For those of you who like flash bling, there are coloured cap that have an LED inside and light up on car movement. If you buy these I recommend Christmass tree LEDs for the interiors with flashing furry dice. :...
