Re: Car shampoo recommendations please

@vespa Haha they can never get the weather right now. Global warming has ruined their predictability Have you always washed it yourself? Never gone to have it washed? Due to health issues I'm not really able to do it myself. So I go get it washed. But they use my shampoo, which I'm running out of. S...

Re: Car shampoo recommendations please

@vespa My god! That sounds intense. Thank you for clearing that up for me. I guess if it's a passion/hobby and you're a petrol head, then the time it takes isn't really an issue. You just want to look after the car as best you can. It does sound like the outcome would be stunning! I'll do a little r...

Re: Car shampoo recommendations please

Well that's a lot of options to consider.
Is waxing something that's thought of as part of every wash?

What's the upside/difference from what we're talking about here, to detailing?
Is detailing essential, and how often do you do it?

Only very light condensation on the outside on mine today, none on the inside.
Yeah same situation here. Not seen it in a few days now!

Has to be a weather related issue.

Re: Condensation inside

Nearly every car I have had has done it. The MG Maestro even had it all over the engine on certain days and shorted out the dizzy cap. The Rover 400 I had steamed up inside and also in the headlamps, again in similar conditions. The fact that quite a few neighbours have the problem in a variety of ...

Re: Condensation inside

Exactly the same as mine. Can you park your car next to your house so it's shielded? I noticed directly next door that they park furthur back with one car and that stays condensation free but the one in full exposure, as others, gets condensate at present. That is why mine does as well. I thought o...

Re: Condensation inside

I had this problem this morning. The dials had a layer and there was a particularly stubborn bit of condensation on the passenger side lower windscreen. The car hasn't seen a lot of action this month due to knee surgery and the weather conditions have been quite unusual with high daily temps and lo...

Re: Condensation inside

I think internal window misting is a pretty normal thing but the infotainment screen being covered in moisture isn't. I would still check the rest of the car. Yeah that's what I thought, I hadn't noticed the infotainment screen, rear view and plastic covering the speedometer being misted up before....
