Re: Drivers seat

I got this saggy seat bottom problem last winter. Then when the summer came my drivers seat tightened up and more or less returned to normal. This was without me doing anything about it. Now the winters back the seats got saggy again. Do you think this down to using the heated seats Oh god i hope i...

Re: Drivers seat

This is what I can see gliptone offer;

https://gliptone.com/retail/leather-care-products.html

If the one mentioned isn't produced anymore, are any of these suitable replacements?

Re: Drivers seat

Ah this is exactly the issue I was looking for. My XE, under 11k miles, has a weird sag, bubble ripple effect where I sit. I thought its coz I'm pretty skinny so I'm boney and made the indentations lol. Was wondering if it's because I haven't treated the leather yet? And was going to ask what the be...

Re: Disc and Pad Replacement

Hehe I did indeed have a nice xmas/ new year break, hope you all did too. And this hasn't put me off the car, I still love it. Not quite as luxurious and comfy as a 2011 xf I experienced once. But the newer engine is so much greener 😊 Should really start a new thread for this question, but you guys ...

Re: Disc and Pad Replacement

I did consider trading standards if we couldn't come to an arrangement. But wasn't sure if they'd be able to do anything. Wasn't sure if it came under their umbrella. But as far as I can tell, I've got proof that the breakndisxs and pads were done. Air con had been serviced..separately. And liquids ...

Re: Disc and Pad Replacement

So sorry guys, been a while since I updated you. So on Friday, jaguar did get back to the dealership and told them to remove off the price of the break pads and discs (which I was hoping for) And also, the "service" to the air con. So I was very very happy to hear they'd made that decision. Still ha...

Re: Disc and Pad Replacement

We had our boiler "serviced" I watched the engineer work. Nice chap. All he did was get out his gas sniffer and it beeped that the fumes were in spec so the boiler is working correctly. Nothing else to do. I remarked is it "a case of if it aint broke dont fix it" "yes exactly" he replied and wrote ...
