DAB Radio - No station logos

Hi folks Using the DAB Radio on my 2015 Jaguar XE R-Sport, I notice that where the station logos should be displayed on the DAB screen, I just get a greyish box with the words DAB on it. On my other radios (such as in my house), you usually see a station logo. So I was wondering if there was a hidde...

Re: Can I replace my SportMaxx tyres with fatter tyres?

I checked the dash display when the car starts up and it shows as 'light load'. However I should point out that I'm moving to the Jag from one of the big Lexus Hybrids, so it is possible that I have not yet had time to adjust to the different (firmer) ride of the Jag. I suppose that if I can't do an...

Re: Can I replace my SportMaxx tyres with fatter tyres?

A fair comment. This is the first Jaguar I have owned, and hadn't realised how much lower the car would be compared to a model with standard tyres. You don't tend to notice these things when test driving the vehicle before buying it, but once you are using it 'for real' and have to park in tight spa...

Can I replace my SportMaxx tyres with fatter tyres?

Hi folks Please forgive my ignorance about such matters! My 2015 Jaguar XE R-Sport (which I bought 3 months ago) is equipped with Dunlop SportMaxx 255/35 R19 tyres. I suppose that because this is a 'sports' model that it is supplied with these low profile tyres. However the disadvantage of them is t...

Re: Navigation problems - Sygic

I became so frustrated with the built-in standard Jaguar Satnav that I installed Sygic satnav on my Samsung Galaxy 8+ and connect it to the Jag using a USB cable. It works great and is far superior to the built-in system. However there are 2 issues with the Sygic that are puzzling me: 1) Motorway ju...

Re: How to change ride characteristics

Thanks for that. It's frustrating that you don't really discover these things until you have had a chance to drive the car for a decent amount of time. When you take it out on a test drive at the dealer, you are not in it long enough to be able to fully appreciate how it rides. Perhaps I should look...

How to change ride characteristics

Hi folks I'm into my 3rd week of my 2015 XE R-Sport (petrol), and have finally had a chance to give it a decent run. My wife and I decided to take a day trip to the east coast (Felixstowe) area from Cambridge. Aside from the satnav, which must date from around 1990, it is so poor, the one thing we n...

Aftermarket interior wood trim for XE?

Hi folks I got my first ever XE a couple of weeks ago (a 2015 R-Sport). Although generally pleased with it, I'm disappointed with the amount of plastic on show. What happened to all the luxury walnut veneer that these cars were supposed to have? Does anyone make aftermarket interior trim to to go on...

Re: SatNav talks too much!

Is there no advanced settings menu in the basic Satnav? In my previous car (Lexus IS300), you could set the distance to a junction before it gives you a verbal alert. You could also set the level that it reduced the volume of the radio while making alerts. You also set different colour schemes and b...
