Re: XE P300 MY20 review

I believe the real BMW equivalent to the P300 is the 330i since they are both 4 pot, 2 litre turbos, not 6 cylinder, 3 litre. You would have thought he would have spent just 2 mins on google to research this before making a video about it! I stopped watching after he said the interior is dated

Re: Michelin PS4s tyres

I've put on a few miles now that I have PS4Ss fitted and I'm amazed at the levels of grip, they should have been the stock tyre! Not that I've timed it but I feel a noticeable difference when launching the car. Definitely would recommend

Re: Excessive Outer Shoulder Tire Wear

Same here, recently replaced the stock dunlops with Michelin PS4S (which are absolutely incredible) but the front are also worn on the outside. The tyre fitter mentioned it to me and he said modern jags tend to have a bit more negative camber than other road cars (which is why they all handle so wel...

Re: Insurance renewal

Theres always some excuse for them to hike up prices every year. I always find ringing them up and saying you want to cancel often gets them to lower it a fair bit. I was paying £700 for my first year (24 at the time) renewal comes through at £2100 despite no claims or convictions!!! Rang them up an...

Re: Thinking about buying XE-S

Paragon cars tend to be very very well equipped because the cost of really expensive optional extras are only a couple of quid a month for the employees. My car is paragon car and it has absolutely zero issues and not a single scratch on it

Well the car is on 48,000 miles, so hopefully it wont need doing anytime soon.

They've got me interested, is there anything else to know before I make the jump?

Re: Jaguar Remote App

The original version of the Remote app has just updated on my Android phone. Is anybody surprised that I then had to uninstall it, reinstall it and log in again to get it to work? :o It now claims to be version 1.80, but I haven't spotted any obvous changes yet.... Its actually a completely separat...

Re: Looking into an XE...

Don't believe the crap that modern jags are unreliable. People tend to recycle the same story that they break down all the time but these people either know nothing about cars or have never as much as sat in a jag. As Phil mentions the issues that were present are really minor and resolved. For my c...
