Re: Smart Motorways (Again)

Interesting to read that the AA have told patrols not to attend breakdowns on (un)smart motorways. It will be down to the highways people to tow the broken down vehicle to a place of safety to be repaired.

Re: Drink Drive Limits

There should be zero tolerance for both drink and drugs. Getting behind the wheel of a car when unfit is liking giving a child an AK47 to play with!!

Re: Was your previous car a Mazda 6

Yes I had two 6's before seeing the light. The first 2008 TS model was a dream, the handling was like a go cart and the performance acceptable for a 2 ltr. Sadly the second 2012 2 ltr was let down by the DISI engine, poor acceleration and fuel economy. Considering the DISI engine was designed for ef...

Re: Standard ICT Sat Nav Updates

Well chaps and chapesses, I have after a couple of false starts, finally I have updated mapping. :D I reported back in the middle of October that I was off to the main dealer to be provided with a new SD card. Well that didn't happen, I did get to the main dealer and they 'did something' not sure wh...

Not changing up a gear

Hi, on the way home tonight I was stuck doing no more than 30 with quite a bit of braking for about 15 mins. When I got clear, I accelerated but the box seemed to stick at 3000 rpm for a few seconds, well until I lifted off and gave the pedal a quick dab thinking what the f***. Gave the feeling of a...

Re: Jaguar XE 2 year service

I bought my 2 year old XE in August and the service was part of the deal. The online service record shows;

32000 miles / 24 months service
Renewal of Oil and Oil Filter
Renewal of Pollen Filter
Renewal of Engine Air Filter

Re: Standard ICT Sat Nav Updates

Hi all, a quick update for you. After finding the email address for somebody very very senior at JLR, I've been contacted by customer services and told my nearest dealer has a new SD card for me. Going on Saturday to get this and hopefully it has the latest version of everything. :)

Re: Standard ICT Sat Nav Updates

Thanks Vespa, I tried the purchase route and it tells me no updates are available to purchase. The chap I spoke to from JLR was adamant that no updates are available, strange how you have bought them.
