Re: Sharing the Roads

Just been for a jaunt along the coast, lovely weather and nice roads....but yummy mummies in their giant SUVs haven’t a clue to the width of there vehicles!! I’ve had to breath in ( squeezing my XE pass) as they hog the middle of the road. Also if an obstruction is on there side of the road, oh the...

Re: Sharing the Roads

How does blowing the horn at a nervous not very good driver help though? Why not hang back & pass when safe? How would your driving look if caught on a dash cam? Keep calm & dont overreact. :) This wasn't just a nervous driver if you read the post fully. This was someone who was totally unaware of ...

Afraid I resorted to using the horn whenever her brake lights were on
Doing that to a young probably inexperienced driver is outrageous imho. What if it was your daughter driving? I am suprised you even admitted to it. :x
Oh belt up.

Re: Sharing the Roads

No mostly van man and dipsticks who stick in one lane blocking it when inner lanes are empty. The standard of driving now is now rubbish with no policing that is anywhere effective. The number of drivers not having any thought for others on the road is at an all time low. Tailgaters are the most da...

Re: Multiple error messages for no reason

As above, as bizarre as it sounds a battery can fail very quickly. I had one go quite spectacularly - started ok, drove ~25 miles no problem, half an hour later - dead as a Dodo.

Re: Warning of BT scam

We regularly get a different one in the 'There's a problem with your BT internet line' phone call. We get this one quite a lot in East Yorkshire, standard reply 'Yes we have no BT Internet line, thicko, we are KCOM land' Trying the scam in an area not covered by BT, you have to laugh! I strin...

Re: Warning of BT scam

We regularly get a different one in the 'There's a problem with your BT internet line' phone call. I usually string them along for as long as I can, they want me to enable remote access for them.

Re: Pop-ups

Happens quite a lot on an iPhone but not on other devices. Doesn’t happen on any other forum or web page I use, and there’s a few. It might not happen for a day or so then I might suffer with it several times an hour.
I do use an ad blocker on Chrome on the laptop though.
