Re: Got our new car

Looks the biz. I was thinking over it but the poor px price offered on mine made the decision for me. I’ll wait and see when they start producing the XEs again and maybe try again. Good luck in your new cat 😎

Did you sell it thru the forum? Or something like autotrader if you don’t mind saying. It was a lovely car.
Sold it via Autotrader.

Re: Considering new XE, some questions..

Hi in answer to no. 5 there are no cheap servicing contracts. I bought mine in 2019 and tried to acquire the 5 year plan but jaguar pulled it and I couldn’t get it. About 9 months later the dealership contacted me to say Jaguars new plan was I seem to recall £900 for 3 years!! I will use the dealers...

Anyone actually bought a car of these discount places. I’m a little wary.

Re: FOR SALE: MY17 Bluefire 240ps XE R-Sport Petrol

Well the dealerships part exchange prices are low so better off selling private if you can. I went and enquired about a..............epace!! there I’ve said it lol. Was dumbfounded what they offered for my my19 r sport. Had to decline without going any further.  Lost well over 50% in 1...

Re: Jaguar wheel mass.

I can vouch for the wheels being heavy. I used to work at Gaydon in design studio. We machined full size clay models and when finished had to lift each wheel onto the chassis which stood about 2foot off the floor on datum points. Wow there heavy. Finally got JLR to buy a wheel lifter. So much easier 😅
