Ford Engine?
If the mileage is high, it would certainly be going through my head if it was stuck under that bonnet, amongst other things of course, but then I diagnose by what I see, hear and feel, not a computer.

Re: Hello from Nuneaton

Hi Chris, I've no idea how many klicks yours has turned but the whirring could also be timing chain.

Re: Another Stratstone Closed

Been for a look this morning, and there is no clue as to the eventual marques that will be there, in fact no signage whatsoever that I could see. The main reason for the move must only be to be close to all the other makes dealerships, all the major ones are within spitting distance on the same esta...

What exactly is the reason for this process, software update (unlikely) or just a reset but why would it need resetting?
I believe, to remove a previous driver's profile (or re-set your own).

Re: Another Stratstone Closed

That's very interesting Mike.....will pop down to have a look tomorrow. More likely in our area to be new council offices though ! Have now been in to the Crewe dealership that our business was transferred to twice in the last 2 weeks for warranty work and ( long wait for courtesy car apart ) have ...

Re: Another Stratstone Closed

Apparently the Stoke On Trent Jaguar dealer is building a new showroom to be shared with LR, opening at the end of the year https://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/news/business/prestigious-car-dealership-been-taken-2658705 I've had it confirmed today (though I've yet to actually see it myself) that there ...

My view is that it's (relatively) cheap insurance. Auto boxes are NOT cheap.

Re: Rear fog lamps

This thread prompted me to check my facelift model. It has two foglights in the rear, very small but with 2 bright LEDs in each one. But does anyone know why the XE does not have front foglights? All Jag saloons don’t have front fog lights, xenon headlights(LED’s on facelift)/LED DRL’s are deemed t...

Re: Radio locked up and disabled radio controls, and parking sensors so I reversed into another car

I've had a few occasions when the radio has dropped all stations and had to be re-set, usually a short while into a trip, but I've not noticed any loss of parking sensors, but then I might not as if heading home the sensors aren't needed. (non Pro)

If you mean the steering wheel joystick, it works to let me bring the wheel towards me and back. Tilt up and down is no longer working. Very odd.
Ok, understood. I wonder if it's possible that it is on a separate fuse to the other movement. Worth checking.
