Re: Another Stratstone Closed

Mike....That is interesting, the LR signs at Trentham lakes,Stoke must be very recent as I was at the dealership next door a week ago and they weren't there then. Certainly from my enquiries at the current LR dealership a couple of months ago no plans existed for a revisited Jag presence in the city...

Re: Elusive Front Wheel Bearings

Cheers anyway. With the P/No we stand a chance, there is more than one quality bearing manufacturer.

Re: Another Stratstone Closed

Been for a look this morning, and there is no clue as to the eventual marques that will be there, in fact no signage whatsoever that I could see. The main reason for the move must only be to be close to all the other makes dealerships, all the major ones are within spitting distance on the same est...

Re: Elusive Front Wheel Bearings

So contacted various garages to get a front wheel bearing replace on 2015 XE, found one that quoted and took it in. Three times they have received the wrong part from suppliers, and it now appears they can not be found anywhere. Jaguars response to them was that there is a backlog and they do not k...

Re: Is your usual passenger . .

My 'usual passenger' started again today within a mile of home. I pulled over to the kerb and asked if she needed help with the door. "Why?" :? "So you can get out." Silence is golden!

Re: Slow to decelerate

My XE is the first auto I've driven, so not sure if this something I'll just have to learn to cope with but it's a bit unsettling. When approaching slow moving traffic i.e. at roundabouts, lifting off the throttle doe not seem to slow the car down as much as it would in other manual cars. In fact i...

Re: Windscreen washer usage

The counter thought to that is, that carrying a lot of water around is adding weight ,and not good for consumption, so surely they would design with that in mind? A full bottle for a car with headlamp washers takes 5.65 litres or 5.65 Kilos or just under 12.5 Lbs in old money. The word that springs...

Thanks RedXES for the info - this is good to know - I concur with all you said about the Pirelli's and I've definitely made the right choice - I'm having Michelin's all round - fitted soon... :D

Which particular Michelins?
