Re: Meridian Audio

One of our cars (volvo) used to get some cds stuck, I think it was the format the files were burned in. But that was only burned cds, not those bought already cooked, as it were.

Re: Tyres require urgent replacement according to dealer

Yeah it is quite prominent in the p300 with the pzeros. Even my missus is getting it, and not just when going around corners. You have to be putting your foot down, of course. The gearing on the p300 is perfect for the power delivery, better I think than stock in the sixes which always seem a bit la...

Re: Meridian Audio

I havent had that issue but I wouldnt listen to people who say that the Meridian isnt as good as previous units. The meridian in the XE is was a huge leap forward for Jag in audio, it is easy to use, easy to go through menus and has a decent sound especially in the higher spec. We have the newer one...

Re: Tyres require urgent replacement according to dealer

Yeah, my only experience with dunlops was on the XKR. OEM they were the sportmax 285/30R20 on the rear - very fat in its day - but virtually no traction at all, the car would step out if you jammed your foot down at 80kph, and in the wet things could get very nasty very fast (although to be honest t...

Re: Tyres require urgent replacement according to dealer

Yeah I dont want to argue at all but on 19's and over some tyres give a rubbish ride compared to others. I replaced my wheels on my f type and went from p zero 19's to michelin pss 21's, the ride is essentially the same notwithstanding the massive reduction in sidewall (ignoring the far better tract...

Gooday, I'm not sure about the XE, but here is a link to a thread on the F Type p300 exhaust mods which might be of use.

Re: Tyres require urgent replacement according to dealer

We just had to replace a p zero (with less than 10,000km on it) due to an egg, so I replaced both fronts with Michelin pilot sports. The ride and handling is noticeably improved.

Re: Sunroof Shade

mine in the f type is manual but sometimes gets stuck when it is closed and goes baggy when I push it open. I am looking for a fix for that, but I think the issue for both of us will be that it is sticking toward the back of the car.
