Good to see that they have finally added 40.20.40 and folding mirrors as standard. I think heated mirrors have always been standard.
I don't have heated mirrors on my 2019 :( - Always thought it was ridiculous that 40.20.40 did NOT come as standard these days with XEs

Re: Courtesy Cars / Taxi when booking in a servicing?

Just rung Beadles Jaguar North West London also to book in to fix some warranty issues (faulty pedestrian sensor) - And they also are not offering courtesy cars directly (her words), but can get a rental car from enterprise for 30 pounds.. I absolutely agree with you billvega that COVID or not, they...

Re: Courtesy Cars / Taxi when booking in a servicing?

Recently had a service at main dealer. No courtesy car at any cost and no valet on my car. No waiting on site for any reason. Needed to drive the car in at an exact time and told I needed to collect at an exact time specified by them, but could not tell me when this was. Bizarre. They also took my ...

Courtesy Cars / Taxi when booking in a servicing?

Has anyone booked in service or had any work done recently with main dealers (or independents) and got a courtesy car (or a taxi provided)? - I've had to have my car at the West London dealership recently for 1.5 days and no courtesy car or alternative options was offered due to "COVID". Had to take...

Stone Chip Repair kits

Hi All, Has anyone had any experience with some DIY stone chip repair kits? I've seen some at Halfords, eg https://www.halfords.com/motoring/paints-body-repair/scratch-repair-paint-restorers/halfords-land-rover-java-black-scratch-chip-repair-kit (But I need a white one, hopefully they have it!) I go...

I think I'm going to disconnect the system after seeing those labour rates... is it a weeks worth of work or something?!
Don't think i'm going to get this repaired anytime soon. The guy at the dealship said it won't fire again in the state it is now, and to be honest, I don't think I mind...

Re: Rusty front disc brakes

Actually, I noticed this the other day, I think on the front for mine - Mine's less than 3 months old and 4000 miles - funnily enough I took it in for some other issues yesterday but they didn't even check / notice the discs.

Whats the best way to pursue a claim? Just book it into any dealer?

Re: Bonnet Deployed - Cost to fix

I'll post a copy of the quote tonight! I was funnily enough just coming back from around New Forest too, but this was on a on-ramp to the M3 (Big round loop, going maybe 20-30 with several cars very close behind me, maybe round 10PM - Deer froze and while I saw it very early on, I couldn't break too...
