Re: XE-S acceleration

I posted, but now cant find, that my 2017 XE 180 diesel auto with just 22k on seems very sluggish to pull away like if there is a gap in traffic nothing happens then it flies forward! I have booked it into the dealer for "turbo lag", I will let you all know if they diagnose an issue. No faults were...

Sorry mates. Airfare is US$900. from my nearest East Coast US airport and 10 days of Quarantine when I get there. Tell you what, instead I'll take the airfare cost and use it to have my nano-ceramic coating professionally refreshed and then send pictures :-)
Sounds like a plan :D

Re: TURBO LAG 2.0D XE

It might be worth checking what engine speed and mode you have as the engine is actually quite responsive BUT the gearbox is slower. As long as you are in normal or dynamic the engine response will be quite good but the gearbox holds higher gears and waits until it feels more torque coming from the ...

Re: Emergency Brake Assist

On 2017MY cars AEB can be turned off via the instrument panel menu options using the steering wheel controls. Yes, the problem is it doesn't stay off the next time you drive it. You turn it off on pivi pro via the main settings, not dash settings MY17 cars did not have Pivi pro, the same as my MY19...

Re: Emergency Brake Assist

All the safety features will automatically reset when restarting the car.
I am not familiar with the MY21 cars but with my MY19 you can turn the lane keep assist off as default so it does not keep coming on, but even if it is on if you hold the wheel firm enough it will override the car control.
