Re: Looking into an XE...

The early software issues which affected some cars should have all been fixed. Some earlier ones have slipped through the net of a fix to the ABS system where water caused multiple warnings. Just a thought, I wonder if this “Engine Upgrade” means that the Stop/Start function will actually work seeing as it is related to emissions...........?

Any exploded diagrams of the heating system available?
Have a look at this topic Vespa put together.
Nice diagrams on the XE S link which should be common across the model.

Re: XE (petrol) 2015 onwards reliability scores high

Anybody who has been on here a while will know problems are very, very rare with the petrol in either form.

If I want to use a word when I'm not 100% sure of its meaning and usage,
I usually google it - it saves embarrassment sometimes!
Very true and I do the same sometimes.
The pedants on here like nothing better than nitpicking anything "the mod" writes both with spelling and otherwise.

Re: Common spelling fails.

I saw another one recently. "I managed to lend my mate's car for the week whilst mine was being fixed". I also agree with Vespa about a pet hate. People who start sentences with "So". Also the "yoof" who seem to want to use the word "like" several times in every sentence. My teenage daughter ...
