I was meant to be test driving that car tomorrow but the dealer couldn’t give me a straight answer on number of former keepers, first it was two and then it was possibly three. It went back up for sale before I’d even given them the V5 back.

I have now received £24,500 into my bank account.

I’m not sure what the rules of naming and shaming of dealers is on this forum but If it’s not resolved today, I will post the whole saga on here, including the ref of the vehicle. No problems at all if it's true. I would suggest posting in the Jaguar Customer Relations section so they are aware of ...

I would contact the dealer principal (better in person if you can) and request your refund. Make it quite plain that if they delay any further you will instruct solicitors which will include additional costs for your inconvenience and also make a formal complaint to Customer relations. I still haven’t received my refund either.

They owe me £24,500 as I paid cash for the car.

I’m in a position where I haven’t got a car and I can’t buy another one until I receive the cash.

The whole thing has turned into a real headache.
