Yes, the cable with the label attached. I think it's jest easier to extend it rather than getting to the other end. To add the extension cable takes 10 mins. Unless you a cup of tea halfway through, then it's 15 mins :D

On Maya my XES, I found that she was less stable at the rear and more prone to stepping out that my XFR. this was quite a worry especially on damp roundabouts. I looked at the tyres and they were all factory spec Pirelli, in my opinion due to the date codes, the previous owner had run out the rears...

Above the sticker on the right hand side there should be a tab with a hook type think of it.
I will see of I can get a pic
At about 1m 40secs you can see where the hook attached to. Granted this is an XF but the XE is very similar if not the same.
