Re: Puncture in rear tyre

I used to steer away from all these additional insurances but if you intend keeping the car for a reasonable period of time then given today’s prices for tyres and alloy wheel refurbishment ( particularly diamond cut) then it’s almost a certainty that you will see your money back. I recently knocked...

Re: Excessive stone chipping.

I agree, it's amazing how some of these chips occur. I think your assumption that you have driven through a particularly bad section of road with a lot of debris on it is more than likely. When I had my car new I was paranoid about getting it chipped or marked, but of course in the end its inevitabl...

Re: New Owner

I am confident you will not be disappointed!
I switched from an Audi A4 to the XE. The Audi was diesel and I switched to the P250 engine with the Jaguar. Whilst the Audi was a lovely car, the Jaguar just seems to have a presence and it brings a smile to my face every time I drive it.

Re: Insurance surprise

I am with SAGA, and my insurance premium for this year is 37p more expensive than last year!

I thought this was quite good seeing that I had to claim for a windscreen replacement last year, and a genuine OEM screen (heated) was fitted for just the cost of the windscreen excess which was £75.

Re: In control Remote - loss of vehicle contact

I had exactly the same issue. I emailed Jaguar assistance and once I had exhausted all of their suggestions (in line with what other posters have suggested for you on here) I was advised to book the car into my dealer for a 'Telecommunications Unit reset". I did this and since they did this everythi...

Re: Heated Seat Question

Not sure what model year the OP has, but on my MY20 car, the system is able to 'learn' my useage of certain features. For example if left for some time in low temperature conditions the heated steering wheel and sometimes the rear screen heater will automatically be selected on from startup.

Re: Thank You

My car has just notched up 5000 miles since new this time last year. While washing the car last weekend, I noticed the first signs of the dreaded road rash at the rear of the sills. Luckily at the moment, its barely noticeable unless you kneel down and take a good close look. I am now waiting for de...

Re: Integrated Dash Cam

A replacement cover is supplied with the camera mounted in it, so it looks exactly as standard when fitted. The install was a lot easier than I imagined it would be and the company were great with the support. I did have a slight complication with mine as they had a problem with a mismatch of connec...
