Hissing noise

Hi all, my first Jaguar and first ICE automatic. I've noticed a hissing noise when driving. It rises and falls with the RPM as the car moves through the gears. Its not the ending as when in neutral you can rev the engine without the hissing. Its not that noticeable but I seldom have the music on so ...

Re: Tracker

£416 for 2 years! you can buy a Jaguar approved one with 3 years cover for £450. I think I would rather have that and the extra year. JLR just need to get their act together.

Tracker

I have a 66 plate XE R Sport 25t. On topix it has a tracker fitted which has been confirmed by Jaguar InControl. However they say that it cannot be activated as this can only be done when the vehicle is new, it must have been spec'd by the original buyer but never turned on? Surely there must be a w...

Wheel spacers

Just a question, I have seen posts about wheel spacers, 20mm on the rear 15mm on the front. My question is, apart from the aesthetics, wheel pushed out into the arches, are there any reasons for doing this? The increase in length of the shaft must have other consequences on the suspension as the loa...

Re: First petrol after 5 years EV

Now out of my price range so like many early adopters I am moving back to ICE. Acceleration of the line was excellent, not much to beat it. We covered 70K miles i...

Re: Brake lights out?

Picked my XE up on Friday, the dealer did the MOT for me. Sunday no brake lights except the top strip. Back to dealer on Monday, brake lights work on start up so system is working but then no longer work on subsequent brake application. Norwich Inchcape knew exactly what to do, fixed in 20mins. I en...

Re: Newby

The EV was on a PCP, Nissan Leaf over 3 years, they wanted more than they said the vehicle was worth. The trade in value was 700 less than the settlement figure so when traded in for something else I would be 700 down to start with. The new crop of EV's all want a big deposit to match the current pa...
