New XE is currently in the build stage according to the update tracker on the Jaguar website. Dealer thinks it should be ready for collection on 22nd March :D I meant to add this for you to get excited over but forgot until reading this again, this isint yours before you ask Looks really menacing!!...

I don't think that's the answer I'm afraid. If you have a 10 ton truck for private use, like Chris Eubank used to drive, but only drive 1,000 miles a year, are you doing more damage than an electric car covering 20,000 miles a year? I think taxing a vehicle by its weight would be the fairest way, as the heavier the vehicle the more damage done to the roads I don't think that's the answer I'm afraid. When it says fill with 13l never put 13 l in always put in a litre less as if its overfilled the tank needs drained, system needs reset and then a prime and pressure test routine run via pathfinder, so probably an hours labour

The way to look at it i was taught is when a car comes out of the factory everything is 100% service standard is 70% of that and mot standard is 30%, for example brake pads the legal limit is 1.5mm and jlr standard is 3mm minimum
