Re: Service intervals 2.0 petrol 240 16 plate

Not very helpful - as I remember, my XE 2.5T with Ford engine, needed a service every 12000 miles or 2 years whichever came first. The 240 Ford engine was excellent - powerful and surprisingly good mpg. The only issue I had, in common with many others, was the non-working Auto Stop/Start which was n...

Re: XE or XF

I had an XF 2.2D and absolutely hated it. Couldn't wait to get shut, and lost my shirt on it. After one other car, I got the XE 2.5T Portfolio and found that to be my favourite car ever. Just swopped it for an Evoque p250........the jury is still out, in many ways I do like the Evoque, and it should...

Re: Another delay

I could only find one forum for the Evoque that seemed any good.............Evoque Owners Club. I've cleaned out the XE, and the bank will get a shock tomorrow! Obvously I test drove an Evoque, and liked it much more than the E-Pace, but I do just hope it comes somewhere near my my lovely XE - as I'...

Re: Another delay

My Evoque is finally going to be handed over on 19th July. Ordered 14th March. I know it's not a Jag, but the delay from order to delivery seems much the same as for an XE. My much loved XE will be traded in. So I guess this one of my last posts on this super forum. Now to be found as "Havoc" on th ...

Re: Must Have Options?

I had an XF 2.2D, and absolutely hated it, although it did have some good features, for instance it was the best car I've had over speed bumps. I did find it a bit big for parking, and I was infuriated by the palaver needed to check the engine oil level. And there was always the worry about doing to...

Re: Another delay

What a sorry tale. My top reason for buying Jags (and my upcoming Evoque) was that they were built in this country. The E-Pace is made in Austria. The world's going mad.

Re: Another delay

Apparently our local Inchcape has a Jaguar Event this weekend, with special offers etc. The question is - have they any cars to sell?? Our new Evoque is still not made, after 4 months. Do JLR actually build any vehicles theses days???

Re: Fuel Ecenomy on Automatics - Advice Please

MIne does 40+ on a longish (200 mile) mainly M-way run, and very rarely less than 30 mpg. At the moment showing 36 mpg over approx 500 miles including one 200m run (as above). 22000 miles done, now more 4 years old, and about to be replaced by a p250 Evoque, whenever JLR can get round to building it...

Re: Are Jaguar Dealers Linked?

I have two or three times bought Jaguars from Inchcape Preston (as it now is) which have been brought from other locations in the same group. They say that there is no obligation to purchase, although I have always purchsed the car in question. In at least one case, the car came from the deep South ...

Re: XE 200hp or 250hp

I have driven a 200 bhp, and as you can see, I have had a 2.5T for three years. I'm sure I made the right choice, and note that there is little difference in mpg, if you care about such things. When you are overtaking, the kick in the back is just wonderful. I am waiting for our new Evoque at presen...
